Some great places to watch shows in Nashville! Since moving to Murfreesboro and as a dancer I am always on the lookout to watch performances when I have time. Live performances are very easy to come across living in Nashville, especially when wanting to view shows that are on tour. Here are my top 3 places.
Tennessee Performing Arts Center

The first on this list is the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, which is also known as TPAC. This theater’s main goal is to make performing arts accessible to everyone. They often hold shows such as theater, ballet, symphony and opera. This is a great place to view shows because it holds many events and performances. Audiences can also get deals on shows on their website.
Oz Arts Nashville

Another great contemporary arts and performing arts center in Nashville is Oz Arts Nashville. I’ve been to plenty of shows here since moving to Murfreesboro and they have always been amazing! Oz Arts gets dance performances that are on tour, music shows and art exhibits. The venue is lovely and the staff is always so nice!
The Fisher Center at Belmont University

The Fisher Center at Belmont University is a great theater and quite a large auditorium. Many of the performances there such as plays, operas, dance productions and musical theatre. Their goal is to cater to diverse audiences. They also have artists in residence, meaning they will often perform shows at the venue multiple times for a limited time.
